Bought TWO ultimate choppers about 9 yrs. ago [ estimate] about 4 yrs ago, machine could start WITHOUT the cover on. Stopped using it. Second machine, couldnt get the bowl off, stuck [ welded ? ] itself to the machine. Threw in garbage because the warranty was up. THAN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE RECALL, machine starting w/ out top being on. Called to complain.Someone said" that company is out of business [ but still being made under another name? ] Said someone would get back with me after i called many times.That was 4 yrs ago, STILL havent heard anything, as i figured.
