Walmart in Orillia, Ontario. I purchased 3 bras in Walmart during COVID-19 in a Walmart in Etobicoke because nothing else was open. I made sure to ask the sole staff member I could find on the floor, if I could return the bras since their change rooms were closed off because of Covid. I was told as long as I kept the bill I could return them. I returned to the Orillia Walmart and was told that Walmart does not accept returns or refunds on bras and that It is a Canadian Law. However, if it was a WALMART BRAND “George” then they would refund my money. I had purchased the more expensive name brands and so was out of luck. How can this make any sense whatsoever? Is this a MAN making this ridiculous rule? How can you possibly know if a bra is going to fit you correctly unless you try it on? I purchased 3 bras and only 1 fit correctly. On top of that, how can you claim as the Department Manager did in Orillia Returns that it is a Canadian law and that it is unhygienic. If that were true then 1) They would not be able to their own bra brands back and 2) No man would ever be able to return a t-shirt or any shirt or sweater to Walmart Canada because it touches his chest. Same area of body as women, nothing different. Oh yeah, except that more often than not they are hairier... but apparently they are more hygienic. Explain this Walmart Canada. User's recommendation: Run don't walk away from Walmart. Definitely don't buy bras there.
