I've been getting bills for $1.50 for a toll charge. I paid the first one even though I knew it was not correct; then got another one today, same amount, no date for when I used the toll road; I called them, spoke to a girl and while talking pulled up the invoice which has a picture, and it's not my car at all, and the tag in the picture is one digit off, so however their machine reads tags is not working. Not only that, I my car has not even been in FL for months. The rep I spoke with said she would "pass it on to my superior," and that I might get another invocie before they get it taken off. Any organization that has to move through channels for $1.50 mistake is in trouble. And, they could make it a lot more efficient if the invoice showed the date and time of when the toll road was used. None of that is on the invoice. Then, in digging further, turns out that FL Gov Rick Scott is involved in the whole thing and is invested in it. Most politicians stink. There may be a few dedicated honest ones out there, but lots are trash.
