Ohhhhh MAN! After the excitement and fun yesterday, I return to sign the docs for my truck and suddenly the financing is for $84,000 bwahahahaha I knew I would get sold a whole bunch of product that I didn’t need because they probably didn’t make much on the truck so they had to sell me their protection package n other *** Sure, it all sounds like a great idea to start; but, then when something is actually wrong and you take your vehicle and you can’t get a courtesy car and/or you can’t get it serviced and/or they find a reason why you must pay... I’ve been there n done that and I wasn’t gonna do it again! I threw a little bit of a fit and then this *** comes in and tries telling me that there’s no warranty there’s no this and there is no that, if I don’t sign up for the *** and tries to bully me into signing up for over $10,000 in optional coverage and policy, for *** I don’t want nor need. I bought a truck. I wanted the truck. I’m well aware that stuff depreciates over time. I am well aware that oil needs to be changed and that you must wash your car and take care of your paint. I’m well aware that after three years, part of my warranty is Null n void; but, I’ve been through the extended warranty *** thanks and I am NOT interested. $65,000 loan jumped up to over 80; I found this just a little bit unreasonable. I almost walked out of there with no truck. The guy was so rude, at one point I told him I was NOT taking the truck. There was no way I should be this stressed out and this upset over *** that wasn’t disclosed to me, yet then suddenly on my bill. I am being told it’s optional and I know I don’t have to buy it and he’s still bullying me into purchasing it.I was just gonna go and not buy the truck. Very interesting. I knew it was coming; I mean that’s the nature of sales like that right? It’s like saying yes to the credit card’s disability insurance... you don’t do it! it’s just a tax on people who cannot think for themselves. Canadians are insured up the wazzu! Too much, in fact. There are policies that overlap all over the place in places that you least expect there are all kinds of policies and coverage through homeowners insurance, through life insurance, through credit cards even! And you don’t even have to sign up and pay extra. Most credit cards will cover you for a whole lot of *** It isn’t really well known; but, once you start looking into it and take advantage of benefits you already have, it works. Smarter that’s all. You don’t need to buy all the extras. I am not opposed to them making money at the sale but don’t sell me a bunch of *** I don’t need, then make out like it it’s basically required when it’s clearly optional. Haha! then, down the road, you try to go and get service from anyone of them and you’re *** So, I walked out of there with my truck... *** add-on free. Furthermore, my insurance rate decreased, my biweekly payment decreased, and I walked out with a 0% financing loan.... I knew it was coming; but, they almost had me. I would’ve been so angry with myself had I fell into their $10,000 trap of crap. I would not have enjoyed my truck; I would not have felt like I got a good price on my truck, if that savings was translated into a bunch of cost through selling me other *** So, I stood up for myself. I did what I wanted to do. It’s my money and whether I was right or I was wrong, I did what I set out to do. I stayed within my budget and I left with my truck. Although I am feeling very aggravated and my head is spinning, I feel good about my choices. Don’t let Bullies *** with you. EVER. All in all I’d like to give a shout out to Brandon and Ben in sales and also a huge shout out to Aaron working in the lot to bring me a beautifully detailed truck; oh and I can’t forget Amber and Kimmy from the insurance place. ALL above helped me get what I want. They sold me the product I came to buy; openly and honestly. Nothings more nothing less
