After 2 years of less than average use (smoothies) and regular washing, the tiny "hinge" on the pour spout cover broke off. After searching for a new cover and not finding it, I called. I was told I would need to buy the entire lid, because they do not sell the tiny plastic cover. Without it, the blender is really not useful to me, and to purchase a new lid seems absurd. For the money it costs to purchase one of these, it seems odd that the cover is so poorly constructed. When I questioned why it was manufactured like this, I was told that thousands of people purchased the machine and no one was going to stop buying it because of a cover. Wow.
