We have been a RCN customer since 1996. Their Billing department is consistently bad. The folks answering never help resolve the problem. In July 2017 I requested to cancel my phone ervice (we still have cable and internet). We didnt want a landline anymore. In the next bill there was a charge for $4.80 for phone charges for about 10 days. We had unlimited calling plan for the phone service. I called and questioned and they said that I used my phone after I cancelled my service hence the charges. If I cancel my service how will I have access to the phone line? They are supposed to cut access. We were switching to Voip and I thought we were using Voip to make the calls. I refused to pay and they refuse to remove it from my bill. Now they started charging late payment fees. I ignore the fees and pay the original bill amount every month. Now it is at $23. I am thinking of contacting Better Business Bureau since I have been pissed off my their billing way too often.
