BEYOUND “PISSED” AT NATIONAL GRID

My service was disconnected for non payment. PAID the bill and was given a 24 hours window for a technican to show up to my address and reconnect my service. 24 HOURS HAS PASSED AND NO TECHNICIAN. Called and spoke with a escalation supervisor who told me he had no way to get in contact with the dispatcher to find out the ETA on the technican getting to my address. AFTER MY FRUSTRATION GREW. Second call made to National Grid, this time I spoke with a regular Cust Ser Rep who was able to contact a dispatcher and was told that all the technicians were out on gas leak emergencies and did not have an ETA of when a technician would get to my address. I have three little children who needs a hot meal, warm bath and heat because the weather is a little cold today, my bill has been paid and its now 27 hours and I am still waiting for National Grid to turn my service on. I AM FED UP OF NATIONAL GRID AND THEIR NONSENSE. SHAME ON YOU NATIONAL GRID and CEO JOHN PETTIGREW. Clean up the company's process and give a shorter window to have service such as this one handled better and hold supervisor and technicans accountable in getting their job done effectively and within a shoter time slot. BTW I will not be paying the $78 reconnection service fee because my service was NOT connect within the 24 hours time fame as promised by your company! VERY UNHAPPY WITH NATIONAL GRID!
