We were given a loan, payments were to begin after 6 months past, person who helped us told us why we were given 6 full months before 1st loan payment was due Lawyet we were sent to also knew, he read aloud we were given 6 months before 1st loan payment. Lawyet witheld 6 loan payments from our loan, would not be a problem if lawyer paid when 1st payment was due, instead he never waited at all. I found out , I contacted person who helped us with the loan & they assured me they would get lawyer to retrieve the loan payment, told no worries. Few months latet found out lawyet kept paying early, again I contacted person who helped us & after I reminded him he gave us a full 6 months before 1st loan payment was due & reason why he told us , ge remrmbered & had payments pulled. He also again stayed date 1st loan payment was due Twice more had to deal with same issue The loan money was doled out the lawyer kept majority of it, tried to get more @ first he refused, then wanted a statrmenent before releasing, tool long time to get, most ridiculous excuses given each time requested a statement, after finally got, lawyer renegged, refused to release, made us wait few more wks before depositing all but $10,000. He wants a statement for a bill no nothing about, the company is in Australia, never been their. - Never asked, never knew about, lawyer has kept our money for a yr. Lawyer caused problems with our loan, when I asked for help I was told the $10,000. was paid for loan payments. - Why none were do? - Why fosn't the lender show any of the 6 loan payments paid, why dosn't it show $10,000. was used for loan payments? - I asked lian be extended 2 or 3 months & reason was my ex had emergency surgery for his heart, waz unable to work until last wk ftom June until now. - My brother past away last month, I asked for $5,000. of the $10,000 to keep bills paid, & hire help to move. - I'm disabled, eveything has been left to me to do. My request for help isn't happening, 1st seemed as if they would, as for the money none has been released, thats wrong, my brother unexpectedly dies last month, I didn't know if I could get to Barrie, I asked money to be released from remaining balance of our loan money lawyer has witheld for a yr for bill I don't know about, don't care if its paid my ex he can pay from his share of money from sale of the home since it supposedly his. I never asked bill be paid its more important to keep bills paid until house sells. - Not nice Not right Why does the lender not show any of the loan paid or the supposed #10,000. That money does not belong to the lawyer - Took 2 1/2 months before the majority of loan moneu was deposited into acct. Lawyer still has $10,000 u would think under the circumstances be more understanding. Did I need to prove my brother died, & his funeral was in Barrie 10,000. the lawyer still has & its not his money
