BEWARE: VIP Membership scam

1

I suddenly noticed a charge for $14.95 on my bank statement from Pyramid. On further investigation I found 3 more charges. I called Pyramid and was told by an extremely curt man that I signed up for the VIP membership by entering my email address on a pop up, therefore that was my "electronic signature" authorizing membership. Be advised my last purchase from this company was in March, 6 months ago. He told me my "free" membership had expired. I know for sure I never signed up for anything of the kind. I am a very careful person that NEVER signs up for anything of this nature. The so called "customer service" person then proceeded to try to make me feel like I stupidly did this to myself. And he even said that to me. I had to call him out on that, it's bad enough to get trapped in a scam, then to be insulted was the last straw. I could tell that this is a common practice, the way he knew exactly what I was calling about than I told him there was a charge on my credit card. And when I said that to him, it was the only time he was at a loss for words, all other times he talked over me. Lat time I do business with this company- as another reviewer stated, the quality is dismal for the proce anyway. You can get the same stuff for less other places on the internoet now anyway.
