Beware! Unprofessional, deceitful swindlers

My husband purchased a used pick-up truck from an individual in December 2012. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, he took it to Adamson Ford and paid for a multi-point inspection. This includes lights, fluid levels, battery performance, tire and brake wear, operation of steering and suspension, cooling system, exhaust system, wipers, and transmission. In January 2013, after driving the same truck less than two hundred miles within a month, my husband took the vehicle back to Adamson Ford to check into a couple of issues that he had noticed while driving the vehicle. He was certain that he needed a brake job, and wanted Adamson to check out problems he was having when accelerating. He was quoted a price over the phone for a brake job that was approximately half as much as what he was quoted after the inspection. In addition Adamson noted several other items they claimed needed to be addressed that were not mentioned in the inspection in December including battery, belts, steering, and brakes. None of this was identified less than a month earlier. The grand total - $2200. Ouch! My husband then told the employee who provided this information that he did not want Adamson working on the vehicle. The employee contradicted himself several times in explaining the pricing, and used profanity. The conversation ended with my husband telling the employee to get his truck ready for him to come and retrieve it. Upon arrival, this same employee that he talked with over the phone was confrontational with my husband. After leaving the dealership, my husband called the manager of the service department and was subjected to more profanity. No effort was made by the manager to question or get to the root of the problem. After all of that drama (just to get a truck repaired), my husband and I were contacted by the police to inform him he had been trespassed and couldn't return to Adamson Ford. As if he would go back there! A day later, my husband noticed that his odometer was not working. Sabotage??? Consumer beware!!!!
