Dec 2014 I opened an auto loan with this company. I never missed not one payment even if late the fees were paid, sometimes paying more. In November 2018 my statement was $100 less than usual. So I called the rep says that I had a credit due to months of overpaying. January 2019 my statement was $80 more because of "unpaid late fees". When speaking to the reps even the supervisor, nobody could explain with clarity how the account went from having an overage to unpaid fees. One rep said its because although I was paying the late charges to the account they weren't applying them to the account. While the supervisor said something different. Neither could explain how they could credit the account because i was paying too much but still have unpaid fees. This company was almost okay with me until this. It seems that they prey on individuals with less than perfect credit to scam money from them.
