BEWARE!! Do NOT Buy This Product. Do Not Expect ANYTHING But BAD If YOU CHOOSE To Buy Anyway

FRAUD ALERT! PRAIRIE IT, LLC is actually best known as the TV-advertised ‘Xtra-PC’ (the USB device that is ‘supposed to’ speed up, and even save and give a new lifeline to ANY Mac or PC that has either given ALL THAT IT CAN, or that has seen better days. We contacted the company today the ONLY ONLY way they will allow anyone to reach them; via a Chat App installed on their website. I asked the “company” to PLEASE JUST ALLOW ME to call them to speak with a HUMAN BEING. Or, if they preferred, for them to call me. I didn’t care; We just needed to have our computers (plural!) back up and running after their “super software device” that PROMISES to revive your Mac or PC after it sloooiws to a crawl or even DIES. So we had a Mac that was near death and a Windows 10 PC that had ZERO problems other than aging and not accepting all new software. Xtra-PC KILLED (DEAD, 100% NO GOOD!) both our Mac AND PC. The downright REFUSE to accept or make phone calls, refusing to put ANY human in contact with another human by way other than impersonal, less helpful online Chatboxes. In the TWO HOURS that we tried to simply get assistance, we were disconnected FIVE (5) times and “Type-Chatted” with SIX (6) people. We THINK! We had to re-explain and re-explain and again re-explain every word of our story and our problems from the beginning over and over, and to no benefit. We were finally disconnected for what we decided was the last damn time, and now we’re here typing this. Here, where we were simply trying to FIND their phone number via the Yellow Pages website - and what we found instead is a dumpy house in a RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD, rather than an office space (not even a junky one). So it’s no wonder they WON’T provide service. They’re not a serious operation with serious TECHNOLOGY or TECHNICIANS. And so will leave it at this: if you choose to buy one of these devices… You’re doing so and a very high-risk. A risk of losing your computer and a risk of losing all of your data, not to mention the madness of frustration you’ll go through in the entire process. It’s not fun for me, us here, to write anything Negative about anyone else. In fact, I am we have strongly-ethical personal policies of Not publicly tearing someone down or writing negative of anyone. And on the contrary, we tried to make a point of writing publicly when someone does an excellent service for us and really impresses us. But when someone puts you through what these folks have put us through it just feels like it is absolutely in everyone’s best interest that others be warned.
