Best Guaranteed Rates – Handling My Request

On 10/28/18, I booked a room for our son who is coming in for Thanksgiving. I really believed I was in the Holiday Inn Express website. But, was actually in reservation.com. It's interesting how much they look alike. I booked and got a reservation email and found out that the reservation was non-cancelable and the fees outrage. I immediately called them. And, they said we would review and let me know. Well guess what they would allow me out of the reservation. They said all the terms and conditions were shown before I booked. Frankly , I did not see them -- I'm 75 years old and maybe that's why I missed it. Also, they claim best guaranteed rates which not true I could say over 100 dollars if they had respected my request to allow me to cancel on the same date - 10/28. I WILL REALLY BE AWARE OF WHICH WEBSITE I'M ON IT THE FUTURE. I ALSO BELIEVE NO ONE SHOULD BOOK A RESERVATION ON reservations.com. I believe there website is deceptive and the company is deceptive. When I called and they said we (the company) would review. I bet. DON'T EVER BOOK ON RESERVATIONS.COM. DON B
