I've used TaxAct for years, mainly because I was used to how it worked. It was getting more expensive but it did the job Last fall I bought the deluxe version for $50+ (includes Fed and state) and thought I was all set. I'm now entering all my information after getting my final 1099DIV. I went to print out my taxes to check them over and was informed I have to upgrade to the Premier level to print anything out . This is an absolute ripoff, it costs them ZERO to let you print out your own taxes, they are just screwing people over who have no other option at this point. They have the same business scruples our president has, you can be sure I will never use them again!
