We got set up almost 4 years ago on a promotion - free equipment and no contract was signed. After about 6 months we changed banks, prior to change, we reached out to be contracted to update information with new bank. No one contacted us. Bank change went through. Still no one called or emailed or sent a letter to us when they were unable to take the payment. We waited... we were prepared for them to contact us. It was 2 years after we changed our bank that we received anything from them and it was threats to send us to collections. We contacted them again to explain what happened and inquire why we never heard from them and why did it take so long to get to us after they failed to remove payments. No response. Again. It’s now another year later. We’ve had a collections agency send 1 letter and then another invoice from Counterforce. Still no one has tried to call or send a letter or reply to our emails about what is happening. This is unbelievable and likely illegal what they are doing. Not only do they fail to communicate but when we were active and current with their “service”, our alarm went off constantly and not one time did anyone call to check why the alarm was tripped, no one came to the house when it was tripped and we didn’t respond right away, and we never received any invoices indicating active service and yet we were paying almost $40 a month! Do not trust this company. Find a legitimate security system and reputable company to sign up service with. Don’t waste your time or money on these crooks.
