Be patient and prepared

Upload all the requested documents. Print a hard copy and always bring them to each meeting. They will "lose" them or accuse you of never submitting. Get a NACA binder, keep everything. If you are in Atlanta and assigned counselor C.L., immediately ask for a new one. Lazy, unprofessional and no motivation is how I would describe this counselor. Calls & emails go unanswered, I have emailed him a total of 10x. No response. ALWAYS keep your appointments, they are hard to get. It's a nonprofit, everyone is overworked and I'm sure underpaid so customer service is nonexistent. It's a great program so it will be worth it in the end.
