Over all I love my home. The details and things we continue to find is upsetting. I call the warranty office, and they all but said make a list and send in 60 days.... oh ok. Let's start with the plumbing in the master bath. We got a call from the PM our tile and plumbing was fixed the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We closed the prior day. The PM didn't check the contractors work because the water was turned off. When we turned on and flushed it water squirted out the front and leaked through the floor to the basement. The plumbers came to fix in the Friday after Thanksgiving and the prior contractors left a rag in the drain and put the Toilet on without the wax ring. So upsetting- no one cared. They said its fixed we are good...so upsetting coming from a builder like Schumacher Secondly the cables that were installed are not preforming as they should - spectrum gave me pictures to show the performance and said they see one or two houses a year like this. I called and an electrician was supposed to call to fix... 2 weeks later nothing. I will say a home builder is as good as the contractors they use... not impressed with the tile, paint, and electricians that worked on my house. I do hold our PM accountable because if he walked our home or monitored work it could have been caught. Again upsetting. The top of our cabinets are busted, and we only knew because we were Cleaning. Our doors are not closing correctly. We are leaving open, so they are not damaged further since Schumacher does not want me counting them for 60 days... Lastly there is horrible pounding when I walk into the master Suite my OM said I left shims for your husband to try to fix... what!!!! Also there was gaps in the drywall on the shower head. The PM came to patch it and said can u sand and paint... again what!!!! For the money we paid these house should be perfect!!!!!! But we cant share for 60 days. Upsetting disappointing and not what I expected. Customer service is non existent.
