My Aviator tailgate developed a horizontal crack in the cover next to the emblem. There was no trauma of any kind to cause it. I called Lincoln and was told there was not a bulletin on this, so they would do nothing. On the net, I saw many other comments exactly the same, and another local Aviator owner had already fixed this defect,she said, when I saw the auto in a parking lot and went over to say "watch out for a crack". I had thought Lincoln was a quality auto.
