It took me quite a while to learn about the time limit for pick up of an available transfer, and I did not see it mentioned in the general terms and conditions document. By phoning through to a customer service representative, however, I eventually found out that the receiver has up to 90 days from the sent date to make the pick up. In this case, the receiver needs to obtain an updated passport, which may take him a few more weeks, but then there should be no problem, if in fact there is a 90-day period of validity to complete the transfer.
