After a short season of being timers on hose end sprinklers two of four batteries (two different devices) were corroded and ruptured. These were DURACELL OPTIMUM AA. I have never had this happen with your common AA batteries. I'm unsure and leary about using this type of battery again. Your company needs to be aware that your DURACELL OPTIMUM are going bad. User's recommendation: Don't use Duracell Optimum batteries.
