I went to Spencer's to buy a Whirlpool dishwasher January 16, 2019. It was a little over $400. Specifically told salesman I do not want a GE Product. The salesman talked me into a GE (in the warehouse) with all kinds of gadgets on it that I'll never use. Cost was $866. Last year's Model he showed me on his computer. Delivered next day. It is totally defective and came without instruction book. Called Spencer's. Book came week later. Used approx. 3 times. Many problems erupted. I asked for a refund and was refused. Asked for removal and was refused. Third (top) rack wheels don't move and it squeals and sticks. Middle rack sticks 1/2 way out and has to be forced out. Lower rack has to be lifted up over the door, then falls off track with dishes on it.. Doesn't dry after sanitize. Scratched and gouged large areas on my pans, glassware and silverware. Same patchwork- like scratches on inner door of dishwasher. My dishes & items won't fit between the tines which don''t move. I was sold a lemon. Been doing dishes by hand since January! Tech scheduling is MONTHS apart. First GE tech didn't show up. 2nd one (from Universal Mechanics) told me to have Spencer's 'swap it out as it cannot be fixed because it was made that way," then reported to GE & Spencer's "THERE IS NO ISSUE" ?? Third tech coming today, April 25. (To 'fix' it.) ??? Checked 5 other stores to see how racks should slide. ALL their racks came all the way out easily with a simple touch with one little finger (same model, same year, $699.). At 85 years of age, I don't need this hassle! Please! Spencer's and GE are now on my list of never buying from them again!
