Bait and switch in email pricing for product

Received an email from Bitdefender advertising their 15-day special of the Antivirus Plus 2020 for 3 devices for $19.99. Clicked on the link and went thru purchasing the product. However, the price that showed up I was billed for was $32.09, NOT the $21.39 ($19.99 + sales tax). They did a bait and switch on the price. Called their customer support and lo, and behold, it's India. Big surprise. The support person tried to blame it on cookies and cache, saying my browser had retained information from a previous visit. This particular computer had never been to the bitdefender site. Then he tried blaming me for purchasing the wrong product and it was only for 1 device, not the 3 advertised. I had to read the advert email to him. Then he told me that maybe I clicked on the wrong product which is funny, because it was correct all the way up to the actual purchase. Then he told me he could not do a partial refund because he would have to email the branch that handled that and they did not deal with customers over the phone, only by internal email. I asked for a manager because at this point, I am angry. He told me the manager had no higher privileges than he did and could not do anything different. While he is telling me these excuses, I logged into PayPal and filed a grievance over misrepresented pricing. After telling him I did this, he changed his tune and said he could file a complete refund but it could take up to 7 business days before I saw my money again. I did purchase the product finally for correct price, but used a credit card in case they pulled that again. Will never buy from them again since they seem to be a company that resorts to these practices.Ver PV
