Bad experience with Box Office Tickets
I purchased five tickets from Box Office Tickets for the Paul McCartney Dodger Stadium concert for July 13 of this year when they went on sale on December 6, 2018. I was sent an email detailing the transaction which stated that my tickets would be emailed to me on July 11. I called when I did not receive them on that date and was told everything was being done to provide me the tickets but I could not get an answer as to why the tickets had not arrived. On July 12 I was given more excuses and what I eventually deduced was that my tickets had been resold as the ticket prices had basically doubled the last week prior to the event. When I confronted this broker I was told " This only happens to about one per cent of the public" and that they would refund my money. After many phone calls during which I ascertained that Box Office Tickets was unconcerned about my dilemma even after holding $1700.00 of my money for over seven months, I finally got them to provide only four similar seats for the original price per seat I had paid. During the concert I observed that my original seats were occupied proving they had been sold out from under me. I called a few days later to see if they had refunded my money for the ticket I had paid for and did not receive and was very rudely treated and told it had been processed. I have never been treated in such an underhanded, shabby, dishonest manner. There are many similar stories on the Better Business Bureau website regarding this company. I grew up with many positive experiences and memories attending events at Dodger Stadium however this was not one of them!
