I was given a $100 gift certificate for my 80th birthday. They had an introductory offer for $59. I wanted to treat a friend who has been having family problems (cancer) and I thought she needed an uplift. I called and asked if I could get 2 introductory offers and I'd pay the extra $20 to treat her. The answer was YES. When they called to confirm the day before, I again made sure this was going to work. The answer was YES. Our massages were at the same time and I got to the front desk first. I was shocked to find the $100 Gift Certifcate for my massage and $59.95 was put on MY charge. I could make no progress straightening this out and out comes my friend. I did not want her to know I had to pay for her massage because this "gift" was to make her feel better, and not worry about paying me back. NEVER BUY A GIFT CERTIFICATE - just go someplace else.
