My name is autumn I got my car towed to meineke about a month ago because my car would not run it got stuck driving up my hill the next day I get it towed to them they tell me I need a new battery which made sense I knew I needed one already and a reverse drive switch is what was wrong with my car they said they needed to do a diag on the car it was 125 dollars for that so I get my car back after they repair the switch 200 dollars later Im back on the road I get it home the next morning starts fine I drive to my sons daycare leave my car running I get in to go my car goes in reverse and does the same thing its been doing put puts out I get it started again it starts it again but lets me get it into a space at my sons school someone nice from the daycare gives me a ride I call meineke back they tow my car again this time they say its the same switch now they need to replace it its gonna be 500 dollars for that so by that time I have no money to pay for anything I work in fast food I dont have a lot of money anytime of the week anyway so I sign up for the mechanics loan Brent helped me with it hes very customer friendly I get the loan get approved for 1400 so I tell them to go ahead fix what was wrong with my exhaust and change my tires, alignment this time my bill is 1200 coming out of my check every week I get my car back without the tires cuz I need my car back so I say Ill come back and get them my mom drives it home this time cuz Im scared to drive it she gets it to my house say it didnt wanna go up my hill and started the put put stuff again and then it starts smoking so I call them back before the close I tell them about the smoke he says it oil burning off I agree I get off the phone look down in my hood and there is a bolt missing from my engine so I get in my car start it up it starts fine its in idle its fine put in reverse its fine put it in drive it put puts off when I dont put gas on it so the next day I call them back they tow there again they say they fixed my belt some other maintenance things to replace and heating cooling sensor and distributor cap and rotor this time its 153 as my total so I get it back its running finally I take it out of town and back drive and drive it for about a week and go to a drive thru to get my son some food this was last night this happened and it put puts out in drive thru I get it started put puts enough for me to get it in a spot Im just very frustrated because thus is going to be costing me almost 2 grand to fix a problem that was never fixed Im getting my dad to fix it since hes not even a mechanic but hes says its either my fuel pump or fuel filter I hopefully thats it. My customer service was great but the master mechanics yall got in there arent such masters if they dont even think about my gas at all I just wanted yall to know because Im a 24 year old mom that needs her car I have things to do.
