Bad business model

I missed my payment because the online portal has been down for wks. Called AMAX the next day-they're too busy to take my payment over the phone. They do not post-date or set up recurring payments. I was advised I should've asked to set up monthly payments at sign up bc now I can't until end of policy. So I'm just waiting for a call back before I get charged another late charge for not making my payment over the phone. this is truly a LOL moment. I spoke with people in both agencies and no one can help me "at this time." So I'm hoping someone calls me back before they close so i can make my late payment. smh
