Bad business conduct

1

I originally quoted the car on november 17th 2011 at about 5:30 in the evening. Shortly after (not even 10 minutes later) i received an e-mail quote and a phone call from Michael C. asking my girlfriend and I when would be the earliest conveience i could come test drive, look at/inspect and buy the car if my girlfriend and I liked it. we told him we could not make it to the dealership the next day (Friday Nov 18th 2011 due to work and the distance 2 and a half hours away) and that I would be there Saturday Nov 19th. He stated that was fine and that no one had even contacted him about the car yet (meaning I WAS first in line) so he set up an appointment for me to test drive and buy it on the 19th of nov for 3 pm. Anyway I both called and sent an e-mail stating i'm on my way and that i'll deffinately be there and i left my house, after a 2 hour and 15 minute ride (practically speeding the whole way) on my motorcycle i arrive in the parking lot at 1 o-clock 2 hours before my schedlued appointment. The car was sitting there i had throughly inspected it myself and was about ready to walk in the door and ask for the key's to take it for a test drive. At this point a sales rep was already on his out the door and walking towards me so i politely asked him if he was the internet sales manager that i had set up the appointment with he told me no but that he would get him for me and proceeded to start the car then tell's me it had already been sold and that i should be receiving a call shortly. Not even 1 minute later my cell phone rings and it's Michael tellin me that car has been sold but he was on his way out the door to talk to me cause i told him i'm already in your parking lot looked at the car and i'm ready to test drive it. This is what he said "money talk's and the other guy came here first" then proceeded to tell me the other guy didn't even want to pay the full price of the car and needed to leave it there for atleast a week so he could get a breathalizer tester installed into it so it would be legal for him to even dive it, so i said 1. well you knew i was on my way here, 2. that i have cash in hand, and 3. it's not like i lived right down the road and was taking my leisure time getting there. After all that was said and done he states it's a really nice car the only thing we did to it was clean it and put new tires on it, i took this as adding salt to an already bleeding wound and this is the reason for my post here today. Then he comes off telling me if the other guy doesn't come back on wednesday he would give me a call. I thought to myself why call you sold it out from under me once already and made me come this far wasting gas, mileage, time out of my life and for what some new grey hairs. All and all in a nut shell why make an appointment with someone? Tell them their first in line for the car? Make them drive over 2 hours and then sell it when he knew i was already on my way? Is that a business? I have still all e-mail's as proof and i could probably even get cellular phone records to prove what time he called me that day. After all this i finally made it back home roughly 2 hour's and 20 minutes later only to be so worked up about the whole situation that i couldn't sleep later that night. so i gave them a call today sunday Nov 20th to talk to the owner/manager of the business only to have the receptionist tell me he's not there on sunday's so i asked for his name she stated Bob Geiger spelled it for me then hung up before i could even ask what time on Monday he would be arriving there so i could make him aware of this situation. Being that i got treaded in such a harsh way and my girlfriend is now out of the christmas present i was buying her I am here just to warn the general public of such shady business like conduct. Thank's in advance to everyone who reads, repost's, and agrees to what i have said here today. I'm also continplating contacting bay news 9 about the situation.
