awful tech support, awful customer service (AC1750 WIFI cable modem router)

I only had my product for 3 months before it was completely useless. I purchased it at a store called Best Buy, and took it back there thinking they would help me only to find out that they would not stand behind your product. They advised me to call netgear that it is still under warranty. I called your tech support line starting at 1:30 in the afternoon first lady i talked to who by the way spoke very little english...could not help me and said the product was just fine then hung up. I call back and wait on hold for 5 min. then whom ever answered just hung up on me...I call back again and spoke to a man that tried to help had me plug and un plug and hold the reset buttom over and over to no avail. then after being on hold for a very long time informed me that there would be a replacement modem/router for me...i was thrilled. HA ! only to find out that the only way you would replace YOUR product is if I paid and mailed mine back first. This is after I bought YOUR product for $ 220.00, then had to pay time warener $16.00 for rental fees on a new modum/router and now i find out that no matter what option i picked for replacement ...IT IS GOING TO COST ME MORE MONEY!!! as if I was at fault for buying your product in the first place...I GUESS I AM. I spent 3 hours on the phone and mostly on hold with your company and yes i did speak to a "manager" I beleave that man was more rude than the others. IN SHORT I WILL PAY AND SEND MY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT BACK TO YOU AND WAIT FOR YOU TO MAIL MINE BACK TO ME. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM YOUR COMPANY AGAIN, AND I WILL BE HAPPY TO TELL ALL THAT WILL LISTEN WHAT AN AWFUL UNSUPPORTIVE COMPANY YOU TRUELY ARE. if you would like to talk to me about options to rectify this issue please feel free to call me: [protected] I assure you I will not treat you the way i was treated.
