Awful St Mary Jacksonville

1

The employees are not easily identifiable, they are not wearing uniforms. They drive around in their golf carts all day also not identifiable drinking beer! Very unfriendly! Not helpful at all! Zero eye contact and hard to understand. Our first site flooded when it rained, our second site flooded when it rained. Our second site was tight. I tried backing into the site avoiding the electric and hit the water spicket, broke it right off:( I felt awful and immediately flagged someone down for help. I offered to pay for the spicket and was told that accidents happen and it wouldn’t be the first time. I did replace my neighbors hose that I broke with the spicket though. There really wasn’t a flooding issue in between my site and the site to my left. The crew was very quick to shut the water main off to repair it:) very grateful and embarrassed. Later that same day when the water was turned on again I emptied my tanks. Two little kids in the site next to me on the right came over and told me the last time I emptied their sight flooded? Sure enough, their site was flooded with my raw sewerage. We (neighbor and I) reported it to the office, they sent someone to come snake the sewer? Well, there was a sub pump station between our two sites and clearly the pumps weren’t working since it had backed up raw sewerage twice in the same week and was not receding! It was awful:( we waited for hours to find management. We finally saw them outside their residence on the campground and we were told “I’ll be down” ummm when you have raw sewerage in between 2 camp sites you need to get up and go immediately, not when you finish your beer! They didn’t like my insistence and “the owner” who was there got angry with me and walked down with me unhappily! Well he did get a crew to follow us down and sure enough he acknowledged the situation was a health hazard and immediately put a crew on it. Management then came back to my site and told me that the owner wanted me to pack up and leave for being abrasive and not letting his crew do their job? What? I was cleaning up my own site moving my personal belongings to get them out of the way of the dirty water. I felt threatened at that point. I apologized to the manager if he thought I was abrasive I apologized for breaking the spicket earlier in the day (not related) and offered to pay. He insisted no payment needed. I was very unhappy with the way I was treated trying to help my neighbor and posted one word and one star on their Facebook page. It simply said the word “Awful” my husband was called the next day and told I was being evicted from the park for “social media bashing” are you kidding me? Why is their a review section? I post one word! “Awful” as my experience. We were given a partial refund, minus 100.00 charge for “damages” which I guess they changed their mind about paying for the spicket, and 80.00 for 12 days of electric? That seemed steep and idk how I would even debate that? Manager Mike, what a nice guy, owner? Heartless, crew, rude and lazy! What a humiliating experience. The park if full of a major clique of party people and their sidekicks. The petting area, despicable, the bathroom in the middle of the park is not labeled which side is for men and women, the sites flood, the washing machines are terrible in the middle of the park. There is a woman that stays in one of the sitescout back there that can’t mind her own business and is always falling down drunk. But I was evicted? My review is “Awful”
