AWFUL PEOPLE WHO DO NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS, MARVIN DORFLER AND STELLAR AUTOS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES

Update by user Aug 03, 2017 http://www.stellarautos.com/detail-1996-fleetwood-jamboree_searcher_24ft_class_c_motorhome-jamboree_searcher_24ft_class_c_motorhome-used-1644****.htmlThis is the link to the RV. And as you will see in the scrolling dialogue, it says RUNS AND DRIVES PERFECTLY! If it ran and drove perfectly I would not be posting this!!! Original review posted by user Aug 02, 2017 OH, I wish I had read these reviews prior to purchasing an RV from Moe, Marvin Dorfler of Stellar Autos. I was told and the ad specifically said , engine was serviced, generator was serviced, everything inside works etc etc etc. It was advertised at " Ready to Travel" Ha, I have to laugh! It was not disclosed in his ad that the vehicle stalled upon start up and that in order to actually drive this EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU START IT, you need to let it run for 15 min or so. And I mean even if you stop at a gas station for 5 minutes, turn the vehicle off and try to start it again...I must wait 15 minutes before driving it. Now to me that is NOT road ready. So I took it to a licensed mechanic who discovered that the check engine light had be tampered with, taped up and pushed behind the dashboard. The check engine light was in fact working but no one could see it because it was behind the dash not allowing anyone to be aware that there are present engine issues with it. The diagnostic port was also conveniently not working so they could not get the proper codes off of it fix the problem/s. Because I was actually dealing with a trustworthy mechanic he called me and let me know that without have diagnostics on the issues, it would be like shooting parts at it to see what may or may have not worked. AND that could run me in excess of $2000. Thankfully I had a trustworthy mechanic unlike Stellar Autos and Marvin Dorfler, who did not run me over the coals with excessive repairs bills but let me know.... THAT THIS RV/ VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN SOLD IN THE CURRENT CONDITION and I should contact the dealership. I contacted Moe, " Marvin Dorfler" and Stellar Autos and after he proceeded to tell me how I am overreacting and that I was uneducated, emotional, wrong and he finished condescending down to me I explained what the mechanic had said and asked that they fix this problem. He also told me that If I reported him to the numerous organizations that I in fact have done, he would "MAKE ME PAY'. WOW is RIGHT! He called me 4 more times that day, emailed as well and I picked up on the final 4th call. He was apologetic and sympathetic... almost an award winning performance for Moe. He said he would help fix this problem and even go as far as have a mechanic come to my house. He just needed a few days to figure it out . As you can expect it's been 2 weeks with no word back from Marvin Dorfler and Steller Autos and I am still in the same situation that I was 2 weeks ago. SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE, NOTHING LESS THAN AWFUL PEOPLE AND BUSINESS PRACTICES. BUYER BEWARE! And anyone who reads this who has had a prior experience or is going through this now, feel free to contact me. -KIM
