Here in Florida having the same issue, the initial taste is okay ( not usual, but still okay ), it's the after taste that's awful, it's a terrible chemical taste. At first i thought it was me getting sick, or maybe the food i ate previously had caused this, but that's not the cause. I have a 12 pack from a few weeks ago and it tastes perfectly fine, but the one i bought recently has this awful after taste that is weirdly similar in smell as the lubricant used to prevent box cutter blades from sticking to each other ( in those large blade packages ) User's recommendation: If you're to buy Dr.Pepper, find products with an expiration date before may 31st 2021, those seem to have no issue with taste.
