Update by user Feb 28, 2020 My final day working for AGS came one day before my official last day on February 14. I was not properly informed beforehand by the company that I would not be working my official last day, but I have received all but my final paycheck, which I was supposed to receive on February 21. Currently, AGS wants me to pay 137.00 for the company uniform I wore while working for them, yet I was originally informed in an orientation that the uniform was free. AGS should have taken uniform cost out of my pay after I started working for the company back in early December of 2019. Therefore, I do not owe AGS anything other than the company uniform, but after they send me my last 18 hours worth of pay, and this is not a subjective opinion. Original review posted by user Feb 03, 2020 On Wednesday, January 29, while I was on duty during my regular 10am-4pm shift at my current AGS post which is the Los Feliz parking lot in Los Angeles, an AGS field supervisor came out and discovered that I was inside a Starbucks and after I met him and told why I was in there, he then proceeded to try to tell me about the rules and regulations I have to abide by while on duty as if I did not know what I was doing and I had to let him know about the lack of proper provisions at the post for the guards (i.e., no sign-in sheets, no daily activity report sheets, no incident report sheets, no guard shack or even a official break room, no detex, etc.). After talking with the AGS field supervisor for several minutes, he told me to go take my lunch break while he went back to his car to wait for the AGS captain to show up to the post, but I suddenly received a cell phone call later from that same field supervisor and he told me that he went back to office to get some papers and attempted to tell me to do my patrols and to not hang out in Starbucks, but I had to quickly and tersely remind him that I already knew that. On Friday, January 31, in order to punish me for speaking back to the visiting AGS field supervisor, I did not receive my weekly paycheck in the mail as I normally do (the only real positive thing about AGS), but the mailing of my paycheck is what company initiated on its own, I did not request it. Therefore, while at work the same day, I called AGS to clock-in and also give my two-weeks notice, which will be on February 14 and I have already been emailed an official "Absentee Form" stating my resignation and the reasons for it. AGS has already locked me out of its website as an official employee of the company, but that does not mean I will not fight if I have to for the pay that I know I am still due for the time I have left with AGS if I do not receive it.
