Avoid these clowns

Looked at a preowned tundra on Friday night but couldn’t come to a decision to buy. Slept on it overnight and decided I wanted the truck. I called the salesman on Saturday morning as soon as they opened and told him I would accept their offer, my financing was already approved through my credit union and made an appointment to pick up the truck. I live two hours away so I made it for midday. The salesman said he would get it detailed and ready. He called me twice while I was driving there to make sure I was still on schedule. When I was about 15 minutes away he called again to tell me another salesman was showing the truck to a potential buyer. I was flabbergasted. I assumed we had a verbal agreement and he never asked for a deposit to hold the truck. He told me to come in to the dealership, that maybe this person wouldn’t buy the truck. I got to the dealership and sat for about a half hour until they came and told me the truck had just sold. I was furious and and they told me my salesman was inexperienced and didn’t know to ask for a deposit. So I had a 5 hour round trip drive to watch someone else buy the truck I had been told was being detailed for delivery to me. On the way home I stopped by the dealership (NOT a Hendrick store!) in my hometown and bought a truck. Worst car buying experience in my life. Their staff is poorly trained and they lack any integrity on the management side.
