Avoid Hisense at ALL costs. Terrible Company. Rubbish Warranty. Crap Products. Poor Customer Service.

Inferior products. Poor customer service. Useless warranty-like an insurance company look for loopholes...Please avoid. We bought one of their top mount fridge/freezers. 12 months into purchase we started having issues with door open warning (would go off when door shut). Notice the fridge was not cold on occasions. Then fridge would stop working altogether then work again. Then both fridge and freezer stopped working and display on front of fridge stopped working, then freezer would work again but fridge still not working. After ringing Hisense several times (because even though they say someone will call you back...they never do) finally got them to send out a technician (who we had to call to prompt him to come out) Going on a week with out fridge at this point. Finally technician comes and takes circuit board out and gets a visual on one dead cockroach on it and told me that nothing can be done. Technician did change the circuit board though (it is Hisense policy to run if they see cockroaches and do no repairs at all). Technician didn't wait around to see if this helped and told me there is nothing else he can do and if he had to keep coming back to sort out the issue he wouldn't get paid from Hisense. Plus it is Hisense policy to void warranties if you see even ONE DEAD COCKROACH!!!! Rang Hisense to see what the outcome of our situation was and the 'manager' told us that the technician found one dead cockroach on the circuit board, which Hisense deem to be the reason why the fridge stopped working and our warranty was void. We asked the 'manager' that if this was the reason for the fridge malfunction then when the technician changed the circuit board it should have fixed the problem but it had done nothing. He Ignored this and just said "where just going round in circles" and just went on again about how one dead cockroach on the circuit board caused the fridge to malfunction and their warranty didn't cover cockroach infestations!!! According to Hisense we should just shut up and get over it. After spending $1000 on a fridge we are meant to just accept this ridiculous situation. We asked the manager to send us a copy of their reason for voiding our warranty so we could put it onto social media to warn others. He said he would not send it if that was our intention. We are now going through Consumer Affairs and trying to get onto as many Hisense forums to warn others of their inferior products and terrible customer service.
