Avoid Capital Bank at all cost

The teller told me when I was putting in checks on a new account they would be covered the next day. Turned out not to be true and the bank held my money for 8 calendar and 11 calendar days. The branch manager would do nothing even though I informed her her teller had let me know the funds would be available the next day. I called the authorities because I thought this was not legal and they said to go to the bank in person. I told the bank branch manager I was going to come to the bank and she threatened me with police. Called the authorities again and my lawyer who said I have the perfect right to go to the bank. I tried to no avail to get someone to go over the head of the branch managers to resolve this problem but the upper echelon of Capital Bank are unobtainable. They're hidden you don't know who they are you can't find out who they are you can't contact them and no matter what you do they don't contact you. Later the branch manager claimed I was harassing her staff and that's why she threatened to call the police. I never even talked to her staff except to try to get her on the phone and I wasn't planning to come see her staff but to see her. Because Teller told me my funds would be available the next day I wrote some checks are another bank which I intended to cover with my Capital Bank funds so these checks went unpaid, bounced with of course fees for the bounced checks.
