I bought Nissan kicks on July 10. Within 5 days the car suddenly slowed down to around 5 miles per hour on 3 different occasions. Warning lights came on-engine light and abs light. Luckily, I was not on busy road or highway. Otherwise, I could have been in serious accident that would have put lives in danger including my own. My car was taken to Nissan service on July 16. Since then there has been no progress on fixing the car. I have subsequently found out that there have been several reports of this problem in the last few weeks. I recently retired and I used much of my retirement to buy this car in order to travel in a safe and reliable vehicle. It is frightening to think what would happen if system failure occurred on busy highway. Im not sure if I could ever feel comfortable in this vehicle again. I had only put 170 miles on vehicle. If this problem is not resolved in next week- I would like money back or vehicle replaced by new safe, reliable car.
