Auto4Life Lifetime Power Train Warranty ….. totally 100% worthless
For years I endured unnecessary oil changes and service visits every 5000 miles at the tune of $100 plus (I provided my own oil) to ensure the Auto4Life warranty remained in effect. In 05/15/2015 Toyota service technicians indicated my 2006 Avalon Limited needed repair for a "coolant leak from cylinder head gasket - rear cylinder head warped causing the leak". Repairs cost $4050.71. While reviewing my service folder I noticed that cylinder heads were one of the items covered by the warranty. On 03/01/2016 I sought advice/assistance by the Toyota dealership where I purchased/serviced my vehicle to file a claim with Auto4Life. Today (03/14/2016) I was informed that Auto4Life refuses to pay for any portion of the repair claiming those parts are not covered. Had I just performed regular scheduled maintenance along with synthetic oil changes every 15k miles I would have saved more than enough money to have paid for the repair. Auto4Life Lifetime Power Train Warranty ..... lipstick on a pig!!!!!!
