Ask many questions before your service is set up!

I called Dish for programming service. The Rep set me up for service. The Tech person came and set the service up. Those things took place in Sept. Today 11/14/2019, I called The Godish Reps to ask about a $100 Gift Card that came in the mail after the installation. The Reps only gives first names but i asked what is the card for? Rep Josh says that it a gift card that can be used to purchase items, however, Im not eligible (new customer) because I needed to give a code to the Rep who set me up for the service. I then stated that i didnt call because of a promotion, i called for the service. However i got the promotional price but nothing was mentioned of a gift card. week later a card arrived. I asked Josh for his Supervisor and he asked why? Because he refused to honor the card, i asked to speak to a supervisor. Cheryl (no last name) responded the same answer. No if or buts, but just simply "you're not eligible"! The Customer service aspects of this is horrible. Cheryl did not even offer up "let me see what i can do"! She simply dismissed the request. This experience has left a very bitter taste in my mouth about Dish. Leo.morris@***.net is my email and Leo is my name. Thanks and please advise
