You may have seen the ads stream across your social media accounts about some celebrity losing their job because they lost weight (Melissa McCarthy, for example) and all because they tried this new product. I've dealt with companies like this in the past but they are getting sneakier. You look for the fine print and can't find it anywhere: not on your confirmation, not on the packing slip, no where. Then 14 days pass, and unlike other merchant there's no "heads up" that your cc is about to get charged, no confirmation of the charge, no email with a description, no email at all. Then, during your monthly review of charges, you find an $80 charge for the... product? membership? both? It's unclear. But you call and tell them you're not interested and they say "ok" and leave it at that. They already charged you an initial $6 for S&H, plus then another $80 for what they say is a "membership" for the product "since [you] didn't cancel within 14 days". Well, I cancelled but they didn't mention anything about any refund and frankly $80 for 60 capsules that may or may not do anything at all just feels like a scam, especially when they conduct themselves in a way that is unbecoming of most merchants. I'm attaching the link to the page, but this is not how I accessed this product. I accessed via ad on Facebook and saw NOTHING about a "risk-free trial". Note: when you Google this product (as I just did) there are tons of warnings out there.
