I have been an ARW Customer for almost 7 years and have paid monthly fee of $54.98 for a total of $4615.80 + additional $165 for three separate claims filed for small repairs on HVAC and garage door motor which repairs reimbursed processed promptly. Most recently in August 2019 called in claim for HVAC problem. Was told to contact repair person or ARW could send a repair person to me from their preferred list. I chose to have a local company diagnose the problem and had a burnt motor and compressor problem. Their recommendation was to replace the unit. Call ARW to report repairman diagnosis of replacing unit. Was told to submit payment invoice with proof of payment and ARW would determine amount of refund replacement of unit. The total cost paid to replace unit was $6,800.00. After almost two months of waiting received notice from AIG/ARW that reimbursement would be only $500.00. This company is a joke and a scam. I would urge anyone seriously considering purchasing a homeowner warranty of this type to not do it. You are better off putting your money in a bank to be used for future repairs. As stated above I paid almost $4700.00 over 84 months and now when I have a major repair of $6,800.00 they will only pay $500.00. Stay away from this scam ARW Company.
