I paid £570 for an art website in June, 2012. The person who took my money so efficiently was his female assistant. After that, needless to say, I heard little from them. There was a long delay between payment and having the images ready because I fell ill, but when I contacted them in November, 2013, discovered that they had gone into liquidation. I remember there being more than 3 complaints at Pissed Consumer, including one that gave the name of the new company Andy Wareham had moved onto. I called him there, because I wanted him to do the website I had paid him for. Needless to say, he didn't get back to me. It is appalling that someone can take the money of so many people, then just start another company without having to pay them back. Why is there no business law in place to prevent this?
