I wanted to find a good company to help me and have dealt with Trevor Reynolds at Bannerjapan and several at DeVere group and all these consultants some good some bad all sell overseas non Japanese registered products. This is fine if your ok with no recourse at these firms since none of the products are registered for sale in Japan and when they go wrong the FSA will say pls only buy products registered in Japan. Japanese based products aren’t great and the offshore ones these financial cowboys sell are loaded with high commissions. Your better off setting up an online brokerage account in the US or Hong Kong. Save yourself money & headaches. Charles Shwab E*TRADE all much better options
