I made an appointment to donate blood at the Egyptian Electric office in Murphysboro, IL. On March 2, 2020 I received a confirmation of the appointment from Red Cross. My appointment was at 11 AM and I drove out to the office and found out the drive was cancelled. I did not receive any notification that it had been cancelled nor did I hear anything about it on local TV or Radio stations. In this time of need, I would think the Red Cross would notify donors.
