Apollo Veterinary Hospital Needs to Be Shut Down

1

The only recommendation this place would get from me is a recommendation to stay away from them. Let me start by saying that I posted a review here a year ago. However, one of my friends was still bringing her dogs to them & they were allowing her to make payments on her account. After they read my review, my friend received a phone call from "Dr." Kevin. He basically threatened her & told her that if she didn't convince me to remove my review that he would no longer allow payments & her entire balance would be due immediately. So let me say this to you "Dr." Kevin. I removed the review for her because she is my friend. However immediately after removing it I went to every single website I could find that allowed me to post a review, & I posted on all of them. If it takes me the rest of my life I am going to make sure both you & your partner "Dr." Gil lose your licenses. Of course, "Dr." Kevin you already almost lost yours once right? Most people are unaware of the fact that you used to practice at another clinic where you were filling in for another vet. You prescribed a medication for this poor dog that didn't quite mix with the medication the dog was already on. The dog died and then you decided to try & cover up your mistake by falsifying records. But, the vet you were filling in for realized what you had done so you were fired. That's not where your dishonesty ended though. You used your key & went back & stole over $15,000 worth of supplies. I guess you didn't realize you were on camera so when the police showed up to your home they found all of the supplies. The news article stated that they filled the entire back seat & trunk of the police car so another car was sent for you. You did very little time in jail, community service, etc. Here's what I don't understand though. You killed a dog because of carelessness. Then you did something illegal to try to cover it up. The Veterinary Medical Board was going to take your license but decided to give you 4 years probation instead. Yet, you are not required by law to tell any of your clients about what you did. Personally, if I had known what I know now I NEVER would have taken my pets to your clinic. Anyone who would like to look this up to verify that I am telling the truth just needs to search online for Karanbir Singh Dosanjh, which is "Dr." Kevin's real name. You will find a couple of news articles. If you go to the Veterinary Medical Board website & do a search for his name as well as "Apollo Veterinary Hospital" you will find the court related documents. Unfortunately, I didn't know that both of these so-called veterinarians don't care about our beloved fur babies. They care only about the money. I can't count how many times I was asked by "Dr." Gil, "How much money do you have?" He "diagnosed" my dog with having congestive heart failure. It wasn't until it was too late that I found out my dog had *** in her bladder & the swelling or retention of fluid was from urine. It was not because of a bad heart. She was put on heavy duty heart meds that she did not even need while her real problem went untreated. Plus these meds that she was on... they were charging me $2.00+ per pill on one, and $3.00 per pill on the other. I found I was able to get them for .26 cents and .35 cents online but Gil refused to write a prescription at first. It was only after I threatened to report him that he finally agreed to write the prescription. However he told me I was no longer allowed to set foot in their "hospital". Before all of this happened, I brought her in because she was having a difficult time breathing. He didn't weigh her, check her temp., heart rate, or anything. He simply proceeded to give her 4 injections. He wouldn't explain what they were for, or even asked my permission. He also proceeded to shove several pills down her throat. To this day I still don't know what he gave her. I tried to stop him because he was being very rough with her. He wouldn't listen to me when I told him to stop & he forced them down her throat. The injections were 1. Ketofen (no dosage listed), 2. Enrofloxacin 22mg/ml, 3. Aminophylline 25 mg/mL, 4. Furosemide 50 mg/mL and 5. Torbugesic 10 mg/mL. I only saw him give her 4 so when I asked why I was being charged for 5 he said he had mixed 2 of them together. First let me state that my poor dog only weighed 10-12 pounds so with 6 pills & 5 injections that's excessive. My poor dog was almost comatose for 2 days. There's more but too much to write and some of it having to do with sexual harassment that happened to me, as well as to other people; but that's hearsay and I can't prove it. However I know these women are not lying. The end result was that I had to have my sweet girl put down when her bladder actually ruptured. Gil offered to do it for $150, which changed to $200 when I got there. He then took the $ in back, stole $30 & proceeded to tell me I didn't give him $200 so I couldn't hold her while he put her down. I was forced to give him $30 more. He wouldn't let me take her that same day so the following day he gave her back to me frozen & in a trash bag as if she were garbage. I promise you, you WILL lose your license if it's the last thing I do. Anyone who would like to see just how horrible and incompetent these two "veterinarians" really are, check out their reviews on Yelp. More than half are negative reviews.
