I purchased a pepper at the Shop Rite in Deer Park, NY and when I cut it open the whole inside was bad and moldy. Its not the cost of the pepper but this is the second time I bought produce in this store and had to throw it out due to being bad. ( Last time it was grapes with bugs in them). After the grape problem I didnt purchase produce here for a long time but now with the state of affairs we are living in I try to only go to one store a week and I figured with things the way they are Shop Rite would have made sure things were good for their customers. I can not understand why the produce area is so bad. I have also previously bought potatos and the bag had black potatos in it on more than one occasion. I will not be buying produce here again and am telling everyone about these incidents. There has to be a better way for you to service the community User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY PRODUCE!!!!
