Follow-up: A couple of weeks ago I filled a complaint against Dovenmuehle Mortgage. We had asked them for a three month deferment because I had fallen down half a flight of stairs getting a concussion, cracking a vertibra, damaging my right foot and ankle. We wanted them to put three month payments on the end of the loan while I mended. They said 'we don't do that' The VA said they did that 'a lot'. Anyway we then started the 'modification process'. We submitted EVERY SINGLE ITEM THEY REQUESTED many item as many as 4 or 5 times. They kept saying they were not getting them. I had written proof they were. I finally sent them via the VA. They still said they weren't getting them. They responded last week: said the material was 'dated'. Not true, but what's new. They charged $500 for an apperaisal. No one was ever in the house! UPDATE: We heard from a company today that wants to represent us in a law suit. They have been successful in litigation in Ariolla vs Bank of America, Arvizo vs Select Portfolio Servicing, Castillo vs SPS. I suppose they saw our posting and reviewed public records. I am going to research these cases and will probably proceed.
