An absolutely amazing experience with transparency all the way

4

Last year, I ended up in a very stressful financial situation and needed to find a way to help relieve my stress. Before reaching out to Fox Symes, I already researched the different options I had. I had $58k in debt, all accumulating interest and I was struggling with the repayments on the multiple sources of credit I had. Debt consolidation was not an option because my credit rating was poor and I had no assets to secure a loan of that size. The two options I had was either a debt agreement (Part 9) or bankruptcy. I already knew I wanted to enter a Part 9 and was well aware of what that meant for my credit file and also the inability for me to apply for credit while in this agreement. Before I got in touch with Fox Symes I was feeling ashamed of being in this financial situation and was scared to make the first phone call. However, every step of the way, the people I dealt with at Fox Symes were amazing and did not make me feel ashamed to be in that financial position. They outlined my options, which were exactly the options I knew I had, and they were open and honest about the repercussions of each option I had available to me. They did not persuade me to take one option over another and left the decision entirely up to me. Once I made my decision, they were extremely fast with drawing up the contractual documentation to propose to my creditors, which was agreed upon and now I have a manageable amount to pay. With my debt agreement, I reduced my overall debt from $58k (which would have kept growing due to interest) to $48k with no interest. Part of my $48k debt does indeed include an administration fee which goes to Fox Symes, but this fee is transparent and is outlined in the contractual documentation. I am more than happy to pay this fee considering the amount of money this debt agreement has saved me. If you are in financial hardship, I recommend you understand the options available to you, and what that option means for your financial future. The repercussions of your options are all the same, whether you use Fox Symes or an alternative debt relief company. And you should never take an option without really considering what that means for you.
