Amana customer service fails miserably

What happened to the time when you could pick up the phone and talk to a real person. I was on hold with Amana 15 minutes before I got a customer service person on the line. Absolutely clueless when I told her I had an oven on/off valve that was malfunctioning. To add insult to injury,there was a pre-recorded message directing you to their web site where all parts could easily be identified. She couldn't identify the part I was looking for and forwarded me to the parts department. Another 15 minute wait and I tell them again what I am looking for. They finally give me a part number for a valve which had nothing to do with the part that was defective. She directed me to a valve inside/bottom of the stove when I specifically asked for the valve behind the oven *** on the top of the stove. Totally useless and I will never buy another Amana product again.
