I was applying for modification and called to see if they approved me and they did. The loss Mitigation Representative indicated that I had made my three payments and paperwork would be sent to finalize it. I was told as of November 1, 2020, it was to begin. He also informed me to not pay Octobers mortgage due to the fact I had a VA loan and my new mortgage payment would start Nov 1, 2020. Ok so I waited and in the meantime I received the modification paperwork to sign,notarize and send back. On it, it also indicated not to pay Octobers payment 2020. I called back and got a little confused and was told that whoever told me not to pay it was wrong and I could get kicked off the program. I was very confused and called back again to be told the first Modification Rep was correct. I asked her to send me an email confirming that and she did. I asked her could I have them take November 1, payment out in November 1. She said yes then accidentally put in the wrong date and they withdrew my money from my bank account on Oct 1 when I was not supposed to pay it . I never gave permission to take anything out in October. InnNovember they were supposed to go into my bank account. This money in my bank was not theirs to touch . Now this money that was taken out of my bank that they had taken was money I was paying my bills with. I called and they said it was their mistake and they could not put it back in my account. I had to wait for a check. I was told it would take to the 13th of October to get it approved to send out. Now Im informed it needs to go to 2 more approvals in order to send it out. I asked them to overnight it . They then said that would have to be approved . I am so mad. There is a crisis going on and they take an unauthorized amount of money out of my account for $925.25. Now Im left waiting for my money that they took out without permission . I needed that money for bills. They said they have to undo the mistake cause they put it towards my principal. I am broke now because that money was planned for certain bills. Im still waiting. It is now over two weeks and nothing has been processed. I dont know about you people but I need my money to pay bills and Im still waiting for it only to be told I may not get it for another 2 weeks. What kind of bank/mortgage Company does this and has a conscience. It should have immediately been put back into my account . I want to know when am I getting the money that I did not authorize to be taken out??? Anybody else would correct their mistake an expedite it due to the fact it was mistakenly taken in out in the middle of a corovirus!!!!! User's recommendation: Do not call and give an agent permission to go into your bank account do it yourself.
