Requested rebate for the contacts, and actually received it (VISA card). Intended to use it to pay for the next supply of contacts only to find out the card has expired. Granted, that was my mistake for not staying on top of it, however, the card says that re-carding is available for $10.00 (totally worth it since the original rebate was for $100). Called Alcon rebate phone # only to be referred to the card issuing company to then be passed onto the website to find out I am not eligible for re-carding ("has passed the eligibility period"). Nowhere in all of this until today it was explained or even clearly stated that if you are outside of the 60-day window (from card expiration day), you are out of options for re-carding and lose your money that you have already "received". Very disappointing experience! Word of advice -- if you get your rebate, use it immediately!
